  • Active Nation Aldershot - all our sessions are held at the Aldershot Ski Slope, to find out more about what else is on offer at the slope click here
  • Special Olympics Surrey offers children and adults with intellectual disabilities the opportunity to develop physical fitness, learn new skills, make new friends, have fun and take part in competitive sport.  A number of Special Olympics Surrey members also ski with us at ASD and compete in Special Olympics GB events
  • ASD is affiliated to Snowsport England  If you would like to know more about what that means for us as a club please follow the link to their website
  • Disability Skiing Wales has a comprehensive downloadable manual (written with help from a number of ASD instructors) that covers different disabilities as well as pocket guides to using equipment such as Bi-Skis, KartSkis etc 
  • The Ski 2 Freedom Foundation is a registered charity that was created in 2007. It provides information on snow-sport and mountain activities globally, meeting the specific needs and requirements, of young people and adults whose lives are affected by physical, sensory, mental disability and special needs.

  • Gripeeze is a range of specially designed gloves, mittens and medical devices used to help those that suffer from conditions affecting the function of the hands, including ski gloves 
  • Dot Sign Language is a BSL training company run by one of our regular skiers.  The company is currently working on a DVD to help ASD members with skiing related signs.  More information on this project is available on their website
