In January a group of over 30 skiers, including a number from ASD hit the slopes in Puy-St-Vincent, France. The resort is close to Briancon, not far from the Italian border, and is a wonderful resort for a group such as ours, big enough to offer something for everyone and rarely busy. With lots of snow in December and some lovely sunny days during what more could we ask for?
Whilst there were a number of skiers who have been coming to PSV for years, we were delighted to welcome some new faces, including Michael who was on real snow for the first time. Fun was the name of the game, but everyone made amazing progress and increased their confidence. Highlights included: floodlit skiing, quiz night, guides singing on the chairlifts (much to the embarrassment of the skiers they were with) and the wonderful service, including fabulous birthday cakes provided by the hotel.
A big thank you to everyone who made this trip possible and particularly to Jan for everything she did, especially when the return flight was cancelled.
We hope to see everyone back in PSV next year, along with some more new faces.
