Fundraising and donations enables ASD to provide the best equipment for the needs of our skiers and snowboarders, as well as to train our volunteer helpers and guides. Recent fundraising challenges by our members has enabled us to purchase a "kartski" which has given a number of our skiers the opportunity to ski independently for the first time.

Fundraising and How you can help

As ASD is now a registered Community Amateur Sports Club (CASC) this allows us to reclaim gift aid on all donations. Being able to reclaim gift aid will be very valuable to the club as it means that for any £1 of eligible donations we can get 25p extra from the UK tax authorities.

Anyone wishing to make a donation to the club should fill out a gift aid declaration form or contact the Treasurer.
ASD is registered with MyDonate, a not-for-profit service offered by BT which does not charge us anything to use. MyDonate makes fundraising easier by allowing online donations, including those made using credit and debit cards.  It also collects and processes those donations for us, including the gift aid claim, and will be especially useful for sponsored events.
Alternatively you could help us by joining Easyfundraising.  It does not cost you anything and every time you make a purchase from one of the participating online retailers they will make a donation to ASD. So you could be raising money for the club when you purchase books, supplies for your office, flights or even do you weekly shop.
